Christian Counselor Lisa Hutchinson.

I’m Lisa Hutchinson

Catholic Counselor and Telehealth Therapist

I commend anyone willing to take the time to care for themselves by engaging in therapy. It takes strength to be willing to make changes and therapy is a great place to learn more about oneself and what changes can be made to live a more fulfilling life. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.

My Education

And experience as an LCSW

My career journey has been enriching and transformative. My path toward becoming a therapist began with a calling as a volunteer in a nursing home wanting to serve others, which led me to missionary work in an orphanage in Mexico, then to private practice.

Seeking a degree that would allow me to serve in many different settings, I pursued a bachelors in social work. While studying for my undergrad I worked at an elementary school to support children and families. From there I went to Catholic Charities helping families receiving public assistance. These real-world experiences deepened my empathy and understanding of the diverse needs of those I would later serve as a therapist.

While providing drug and alcohol counseling for youth and their families, I completed my masters in social work at the University of Denver.

About Me

Personal interests and hobbies

Outside of my professional life as a therapist, I keep busy with spending time with my husband of 11 years and our three children ages from 3 years to 12 years old.

I love the beauty of God’s creation here in Colorado and traveling throughout the United States. Hiking, praying and being with my family and friends rejuvenates my spirit.

I also enjoy writing, reading, Bible studies, and dancing.
